Humanoids

Humanoids are creatures that take the bodily form relating to that of a human or are of a human. They can be played solitary or they can be bonded to a Soul Shade to create pairs known as Lifelines. They each have different features and different aging principles. They each reside in different domains of Hollowheid. It is extremely rare to find one of a race living within those of another race unless on business duty. Some ties are strong between races while others not so much. Hybrids can occur but they are rare, with stats often ranging in the average of what their parents were.

Hybrids

Hybrids vary even more than humans. There are so many 'if' factors with this race that they were soon just categorized as one altogether. Hybrids have no real set standards. They are never taller than their tallest parent and they are never shorter than their shortest parent. Because of this, their height usually ranges in the middle. Instead of having a dominant gene, its common that the genes mix. This causes for a mixture of color rather than one throughout their body. For example, a blonde and a brown haired will have a dirty blonde offspring.

Soul Shades

Soul Shades are creatures that often roam wild throughout Hollowheid. They are born from eggs dropped straight from the Chancellor himself. Their designs, forms, and bodies are as random as they are dropped. They mature quickly and grow rapidly. They are ageless until they bond with a Humanoid and become Lifelines. Soul Shades reflect the age of their bonded counterparts. Soul Shades can become bonded by choosing their couterpart. The Sould Shade possesses a sixth sense tht disappears once they are bonded. This sixth sense allows the Soul Shade to see if they want to bond to the Humanoid. If not, the run. If so, they bond. Once bonded, the Soul Shade can communicate telepathically with their humanoid. Soul Shades posses magic that is only used in a short and powerful burst when a strong emotion compels them to use it. This emotion can be something such as a Humanoid being in danger.

Gryphon

Equine

Direwolf

Direwolves are extremely large wolves with extremely unique colors and markings. They average 5 feet tall at the shoulders, some smaller and some taller depending on their bonded counterpart. Gryphon

Just like Humanoids, Gryphons vary in size and color. Gryphons are large creatures with a large set of wings, a bird-like head, and a body of either a lion or a wolf. Gryphons, just like Direwolves, bond to Humanoids that reflect better upon themselves height wise. Smaller Gryphons are more likely to bond to smaller humanoids while larger ones are more likely to bond to larger humanoids. Gryphons can have markings just like any other Soul Shadow. Gryphons' bird heads can mimick any bird of prey, including owls.

Equine

Equines are probably one of the most versatile Soul Shadows. Equines can vary extremely. They can have horns, they can have wings, they can have leonine tails or even regular tails.
